" I am forty something bloke who has loved sport and training since my early teens. Through years of body abuse from rugby, karate and weight training, eighteen months ago I had to undergo a shoulder operation. Recovering briefly I then developed bilateral frozen shoulders. I had fallen out of love with exercise and found I could no longer train in the way I knew. Frustrated, I needed to find a new way to train, get my strength back and somehow improve my shoulder mobility. Emma took up the challenge! Taking on research into frozen shoulders she has put me through a programme. We are four weeks in and progress has been fantastic. Mobility is slowly returning along with strength but more importantly my confidence has returned. Emma has provided me with challenging new exercises which focuses on form, stabilising my body and shoulders, I am loving training again and can already see real improvements. Emma is an excellent Personal Trainer. I would not hesitate in recommending Emma to anyone considering using a Personal Trainer. In my experience Emma is the ultimate professional and totally committed to helping her clients achieve their goals. "I've been seeing Emma once per week for 3 months for run specific strength work.  She is amazing, she is extremely knowledgable and encouraging.Every single time I go, she has a planned out session, which varies , which keeps it interesting, and I feel that she manages to find areas of weakness, that I can work on.I wanted to improve my running strength , but an unexpected benefit from the sessions for me is that my lower back has never felt more stable than it does now. I used to have a 'twingy' lower back, which I just thought was something I had to put up with. I can do more exercise now with not a hint of a back twinge, and the extra training that this has allowed me to do has made it possible for me to improve my 5k time.I started 2015 intending to run 10k, but I ran a half marathon in November 2015, which exceeded my expectations. Leading up to the half marathon, Emma gave me such useful advice, and because she has done half and full marathons herself, this made the advice real and credible for me. She tailored the sessions leading up to the half marathons, and afterwards, including what to do on race day as warm ups and warm downs.I recommend Emma wholeheartedly.

"This year I have been working hard to lose a lot of weight through healthy eating and exercise. I was growing bored of doing normal gym workouts and wanted something effective and fun to help me.  A friend introduced me to Emma's kettlebell classes promising a good workout and a laugh.  I went along and enjoyed every second.  The classes are brilliant, hard work and lots of fun.  They leave you feeling like you've achieved something great (& a little sweaty!).  Emma is passionate and is genuinely interested in helping anyone who needs it.  She helps you to reach your goals and is always there to give you great advice.  Over the weeks I have gained a lot of strength as well as new skills, lost weight and thoroughly enjoyed myself.  I would recommend Emma's class to everyone, she inspires me to keep going and her hard work and friendly nature makes you believe that anything is possible”​
